Hi,
Ian Humphreys from Spoonbill Software here. You are receiving this email because you have previously requested a Blind gamers game. This is to announce
the release of Blind gamers Yahtzee 1.0 – BG Yahtzee for short.
BG Yahtzee is the accessible version of the popular dice game where you roll 5 dice and score in 13 scoring categories, attempting to get the highest score
possible. It is suitable for both blind and visually impaired players, and like all Spoonbill games in the Blind gamers series, it is self-voicing.
The first release of BG Yahtzee is restricted to a single player game using the rules of the original Yahtzee game. It is possible in the future that a
new version will feature options to play other variations of the game such as Triple Yahtzee, Scandinavian Yahtzee, and even allow you to play a game against
the computer.
Remember all games from Spoonbill Software are completely FREEWARE with no restrictions on their use.
If you would like to try a copy of BG Yahtzee, just email me at:
irhumph@omninet.net.au
requesting a copy of BG Yahtzee 1.0. If you do not want to be informed of future Blind gamers releases, let me know and I will remove you from my mailing
list.
Regards
Ian Humphreys

I have a copy, and like it. In general, I like that series of games.
Good Luck,
Dave
I also have got a copy and i like it but it is very simmilar to the Jim Kitchen game. I would even say that Jim Kitchen's version is better as it allows two or more players playing or even playing with a computer. If i was Ian i would work more developing a game which nobody else did or on a game which is not free to buy from somewhere else or something. But as both games are free i can't see why he produced a game which already exists and it might be better. But over all i think Ian did a very good job producing accessible games for free.
Frankly, I think Ian just likes doing games. If it appeals to him, he'll do it.
Some of his games, especially free cell solitair, seem awkward to me, but, they're free, and I'm not going to complain.
